When I worked in epping until August I always went here for a take away sandwich Very nice but basic food limited menu but prepared fresh for you by friendly staffCup of tea while overlooking the forest and far off views Tranquil setting very nice whatever the weather although better on a sunny day There us nothing not to like Bikers walkers those on bikes or horses all welcomed here Give it a go - even if you don't like the place (which I think would be hard to do) then you will only be a quid or two downPlaces like these are hard to find these days and need to be supported
High Beeches is hard to imagine without this place. Iconic bicycle cafe. carl god bless him. Their resistance to putting the cost of a tea up is noteworthy in this grasping age.

Staple part of my regular visits to Epping for then past 25 years or so. Lower cost though smaller range of food than Kings Oak Cafe across the green. I would recommend this tea hut without hesitation for tea / cake / sausage rolls on your next visit to Epping Forest. Just ask Mandy for your tea hut desires and with fabulously friendly service she will provide. 5 stars.
Set in Epping Forest , good old fashioned teas coffees, cold drinks, sandwiches, pasties, cakes sort of cafe. my favorite place to ride up to and enjoy the forest and the best pasties ever, just like mums home baking yum ! very popular place for cyclists and dog walkers to stop off at, people like to meet up with friends for a good old jangle . Parking not a problem for cars and the lovely staff are happy to loan you a tray if you want to carry your food to eat in your car if it's raining. Ladies! Try and get the council to allow a shelter for inclement days to sit under
