A lifesaver! I'd spent a long and tiring morning at Lee Valley water park (great venue, poor food) and needed a simple lunch and drink. This small, slightly quirky but incredibly effecient cafe was absolutely on the money. Fresh toasted sandwiches, great cakes and nice tea bags instead of the cheap rubbish some cafes use. Excellent staff too. Thanks.
Absolutely brilliant. Delicious ingredients and lovely staff. Went with my three year old daughter. Definitely worth a visit.
Delightful pit stop today . Sat outside. Lovely cup of coffee and a great egg mayo sandwich , clearly made to order. Freshest ever! Great sweet potato wrap too. Highly recommended.
Was after a non chain cafe that did breakfast and I could sit outside as had my bike with me. Absolutely perfect- had their veggie full English. Cheery staff and tasty food and coffee- change from a tenner too.
It was very busy when we visited and as a result, service was slow. However, when the food did arrive, it was very nice and I would recommend The Gatehouse Cafe if you are in the area. Nice location next to Waltham Abbey church and gardens.
