Terrific pub. We received an instant very warm welcome from the landlord and were really looked after by the friendly bar staff. Wide selection of beautifully well kept beers with quality largers for those not a fan of real ale. We had a lovely, freshly prepared lunch for a good price. Can't wait to go back.
Four of us plus a dog called in on Tuesday for lunch. The host, Rob, was very welcoming. It is an excellent pub with an outstanding selection of real ales. The food is freshly cooked ("REAL FOOD", not pub chain food) with plenty of items on the menus. The pub is a real gem these days.

A warm welcome awaits you at this lovely country pub. Our dogs were made welcome too, with water and treats. A great choice of real ales and ciders and hopefully we will return again to sample some more of them.
Excellent lunch today, I can truly recommend the burgers. Fantastic selection of cider and the very knowledgeable and helpful barman set all of our six third of a pint tasters out in flavour and dryness order to give the best tasting experience. Dont miss the homemade ice cream either.
